Vic Heritage iPhone app
Check out the free iPhone app Vic Heritage. You can explore the architectural and historical gems of Melbourne and regional Victoria, go on tours, and add your own content. Unearth the hidden histories of the buildings you love. http://www.dpcd.vic.gov.au/heritage Actually a well done little app.

Back to materialism
The one year long experiment of Not Buying Things (NBT) has come to an end.  Did my best to stick to the rules, but to be frank, I had two exceptions: I just didn’t have enough clothes for work.  I lost too much weight before starting NBT (~22kgs) and none of my clothes fit me.  So I made a compromise, for every piece of clothing I purchased, I had to give away at least twice that number....

TV
When we got the giant plasma TV, I didn’t think of it as a micro SUN that would put out enough heat to raise the temperature of the entire house.   Back to watching movies on the MacBook Air..
